Katie Eberts
Katie Eberts studied art at the University of Michigan’s Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design. She lives in Michigan with her husband and daughter in a sweet little white house surrounded by flowers in the summer and piles of snow in the winter. She is the co–Illustrator Coordinator for SCBWI Michigan and the artist behind Fresh Made Simple (Storey Publishing, 2015) and Hush-A-Bye Night, Goodnight Lake Superior (Sleeping Bear Press, 2023).
Outside the studio, Katie can be found gardening, cross-country skiing, cooking, camping, and quilting. She loves antique stores, picnics and playing violin in the pit orchestra for her local theatre. In the summer, she and her mom share a small boat called Strawberry in the Wind, and she throws on an apron to help assemble very large salads as part of her husband’s catering crew.
