Mary Quinlan

Mary Quinlan is an author and illustrator based in New York City. Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Mary’s art is deeply influenced by a childhood spent exploring tidepools and redwood forests, searching for mermaids and fairies. Mary received her MFA in Illustration as Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts in New York. When she is not drawing, Mary can usually be found knitting or cuddling her spoiled tuxedo cat, whom she found in a milk crate on the streets of Manhattan.
